Hi!

 

I’m Meg and I’m married to a grain farmer, Tom, and we live on a property near Surat, Qld. We had a little boy, Percy, in August last year and life has never been so fun! 💙

Before having Percy I was an Accountant, so numbers were more my thing, and then I discovered sewing! About 2 years ago I found a dress online that I loved but couldn’t justify the price tag and thought it looked easy enough to make - I mean how hard could it be to sew a dress, right?

Thank goodness for a lady, who also lives on a property near Surat, who is a talented sewer and a very good teacher!
We met at the local pub with our sewing machines one morning (the meeting spaces in a small town are limited - and right next door has great coffee, so it was a no brainer!) and she spent the day helping me make this dress.

From there, my love grew for sewing! I loved seeing a piece of material transform into something I’ve envisioned (I guess it’s a little bit like accounting - where you start with a set of books and by the end you’ve pulled the data out you need to come to a final tax position) - But I digress!! I’m not here to talk tax 🙈

I love making products that are affordable and unique and take great delight in sending off your orders to you. I definitely do a little happy dance when I receive an order!
